Pregnancy and Prenatal Care

Pregnancy and Prenatal Care

Pregnancy, whether low-risk or high-risk, is a wonderful and special time in your family’s life.  By limiting the number of obstetrical patients accepted each month, your prenatal care is made even more personal and special.  Being seen by the same physician each and every visit, and ultimately for the delivery, Dr. Rubenstein provides complete continuity of care and personal knowledge of your pregnancy and related issues.

Having trained at the prestigious Obstetrical, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences Residency program at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, New York, and with years of in-depth clinical experience and attention to detail, Dr. Rubenstein is able to successfully manage many details in a high-risk pregnancy (multiple gestations, diabetes, hypertension, pre-existing medical conditions, thrombophilia, recurrent pregnancy losses and other complex issues) to achieve the best possible outcome.  When necessary, he may coordinate your care with a regionally or nationally renowned Maternal-Fetal-Medicine (MFM) specialist to ensure the health of you and your growing family.  Dr. Rubenstein is committed to ensuring that you understand your pregnancy and the up-to-date options available to you each step of the way.  As a solo practioner, Dr. Rubenstein is committed to working with you and your family to determine the best plan of care in a sensitive, open and thorough manner.

All deliveries and hospitalizations are performed at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey, in the state-of-the art, modern Women’s & Children’s Hospital with full-time, in-house obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatricians and neonatologists, all available to you and your baby, if needed.  Thus, providing you and your baby with the highest level of immediate care in a world class, premier, medical center geared for women and child’s health.
